"It is my purpose to take the seed of an idea and transform it into a space that feels like it should have always been there. For this, I will go home dirty, tired, and happy."
-Mike Elston
Mike holds a B.S. in Horticulture from Cornell University and a M.S. in Plant and Soil Sciences from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. You'll find that his passion for his work is contagious; soon you'll be as excited as he is about the unique qualities of each stone and plant in your new landscape. Mike's goal is for the experience and process of each project to be as positive and rewarding as the finished installation.
Our Philosophy on Landscape Design
Every property is unique. Every customer is unique. It is our purpose to design outdoor spaces that belong to the customer and to the property. Our unique strength is to see the character of your property and build a design around those assets.
We take pride and satisfaction from the designing and building processes, so the care and creativity are plainly visible in the finished product.
The best designs are a product of a cooperative effort by the designer and the customer.
Historic and otherwise unique homes should be shown respect by creating outdoor spaces in harmony with their materials and architectural styles.
When we are finished, your new landscape should look like it's always been there, or like it should have been there all along.
